182 p. 21.5 cm. Dated 1954 on the title page, but states 2nd printing 1955 on the copyright page. Sound and square binding in green, cloth-covered boards. Very tiny knick to lower board top edge. Bottom fore-corner of upper board is slightly bumped. Top edge of text block is a bit dusty. Inside pages are clean and unmarked, with a little toning. Dust jacket has wear to the edges, including some creasing, tears and tiny chips. The spine has faded somewhat but is still legible. It is not price clipped. ($2.00) Will ship in fresh mylar protector. Number 3 in the Great Stories of Canada series for children.
