Robert Montagnese, as we learned from his first book LUCKY 7 (whose proceeds are donated to OCRF), was twice the Connecticut State Twirling Champion and the youngest Twirling Champion in US history. We also learned that Robert received a B.S. in Nursing from CU and was an RN at New York Hospital and Memorial Sloane-Kettering Cancer Hospital. Cut to his career change in the early 80's, where Robert began his advertising adventure with the likes of Coca-Cola, Vidal Sassoon, Pantene, and Blackglama Mink and continues to direct L'Oreal at McCann Erickson as the EVP Brand Director.In between career and writing, Robert lectures at Dartmouth, NYU, FIT and Columbia University on various advertising topics. His third book which is currently in development will be ready for Summer 2009. Robert and his partner, John, live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with their very lucky dogs Bolo and Willy.
