Includes notable Chicago figures; Charles Comiskey, the sports writer, golfer "Chick" Evans, Jr., sign painter and congressman Thomas Cusack, August Herrman, the former owner of the Reds, Kid Gleason, the former White Sox manager, Ban Johnson, and many professionals, businessmen, actors, and Chicago politicians. Green suede wrappers bound with a silk cord, with gilt lettering on cover, spine toned and heavy chipping to edges, a small inner tear on upper recto near spine, toning and chipping on pages at both front and back and soiling to edges; overall a very good copy of a scarce Lardner Unpaginated [200 illustrated pages printed on recto only, separated by tissue guards]. 4to First and only edition, privately printed and subscription only, in an unknown limitation.
