About this Item
Cahan's stellar novel of Jewish immigrant life was originally published by Harper; this is a Very Good copy of the reprint edition. As uncommon as the First edition. Gray pebbled cloth binding; illustration and titling in black and orange. Clean text; 530 pages. Although this is a sound copy, it is ex-libris, with the usual treatments. These are mostly on the endpapers, but the top and bottom pages edges also have faint stamps, as does the title page. There is some cello tape residue as well. A really good reading copy, but not for the advanced collector. Lacking the scarce dustjacket. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Seller Inventory # 004137
