1903. No edition remarks. 312 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt lettering t front and spine. Deckled edges. Rough cut edges to several pages. Small stamp to front endpaper and number in pen to title page. Pages are mildly tanned with moderate foxing, heavier foxing to endpapers. Heavy cracking to hinges, with notably loose front board. Moderate cracking to rear hinge and gutters. Visible thumb-marking present. Pen inscription to title page. Slight edge tears to several pages not affecting text. Pencil inscription to front endpaper, with stamp mark to reverse side. Mild droplet mark to rear endpaper. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and splitting, with mild marking to boards. Moderate tanning to spine, which has mild crushing and tearing to ends. Spine cloth feels loose. Moderate liquid stains to front board and spine. Notable warping to boards. Book has forward lean.
