About this Item
Published just a few years after the establishment of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics in 1922 by Vladimir Lenin, this pocket map shows a rapidly changing geopolitical situation across large portions of Asia. The new U.S.S.R. dominates much of the continent, and satellite republics within the Soviet sphere of influence extend into Central Asia, threatening China and British India. Various polities are outlined and labeled, helping to date the map to around 1924. Published in London by George Philip & Son. Seller Inventory # 3259
