Heavy tearing and creasing to rear free endpaper. Pages are lightly tanned with moderate foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Former owner's inscription to half title page, with a few small nicks along text block edge. Notable cracking to hinges, with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Visible thumb-marking present throughout. Water staining to upper edges of rear pages, and to front paste-down edge. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with noticeable bumping and scuffing to corners, crushing to spine ends and considerate rub wear to surfaces. Heavy tanning to spine and edges.
