This VG later edition book--both it and the jacket list to title #17 of this series-- is square and very clean; it is free of corner bumps and edge dings; the head and heel of the spine are lightly bumped without fabric damage. The binding is "browning up" along all its edges and on the spine (see photo). Except for a 1958 inked inscription on the back side of the FFEP, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type; the paper is very mildly toned and crisp and flexible and the hinges are quite sound and not damaged in any fashion. The VG+ jacket is clean, not faded, intact with only tiny chips at the front corners and tiny spots of color loss at the head and heel of the spine.
