A bright copy of this scarce selected anthology of the poems of William Wordsworth in a full diced calf prize binding. Selected poems by the famous English Romantic poet William Wordsworth, a scarce copy. Found institutionally only at the British Library, dated from that copy.Containing poems such as 'Lucy Gray,' 'We are seven,' 'Th Rainbow,' 'The Daffodils' and 'The Fountain' among many others.A beautiful edition with decorated margins and occasional head-piece.Prize binding with bookplate awarded to Carola Elsley in 1857. Rebound in full diced calf with gilt tooling to spine, titles in gilt to morocco spine label, gilt blind stamp to front board, marbled edges and endpapers. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only, boards lightly marked, extremities lightly bumped. Internally, firmly bound. Light minor odd spotting to odd leaf, pages otherwise bright and clean.
