A good, solid fairly clean copy. An ex "lending" library copy, American Lending Library, Inc. Dallas. Wear at edges and some lending lib. stamps for and aft. DJ is covered in old jacket cover (the kind with paper edges) and glued to inside of boards. Rear hinge cracked. 255 pages. Six of the murdered wife's husbands friends "engage the blind detective Patrick Laing, to conduct a private inquiry into the mysterious and unsolved death of Thelma Joyce".
