Book Description Doubleday and Co., , first edition stated., 1957. . (illustrator). Very Good, with these flaws: top edge heavily foxed (many brown specks); moderate foxing on fore edge, light foxing on endpapers; otherwise straight, solid, and unmarked; edges lightly rubbed. Hardcover in blue cloth with white titles on spine. 237 pp. Not a Tod Moran book, but very like a Tod Moran book, and in my opinion one of Pease's best. Young Renny leaves college to search for his shipwrecked father, and gets an education that he had missed, about racism and good and bad people, among other things; a plot with many twists and a couple of shipwrecks. We ship promptly in cardboard, well protected. . Seller Inventory # 996295
