About this Item
Introductory essay by Frances Wood. There is apparently some debate about whether Lao Tzu ever existed, but from what little I have read that is attributed to him, if he didn't, he should have. Pp: xxiii, 235, eight plates, two folded plates, illustrated. A hint of a suggestion of a whisper of wear to corners/spine ends, in scuffed, moderately soiled slipcase. All in all a fairly nice copy of this Folio Society edition of a classic. Seller Inventory # 019471
