Slightly bumped corners. Outside of hinges starting, spine - darkening to spine and fading of lettering. Front cover fading and darkening to top of cover and first line of title. The spine strips ends are frayed (thinned and darkened). Most of the tips of the boards' corners are threadbare. The bottom end of the front board is mottled with lightly faded and lightly soiled spots. The endpapers are foxed and split over the hinges; hinges are tight. Foxing is on the title list page, reverse side of the first plate, and the margins of the last two plates and each facing page.
