HB book in VG- condition. Inscribed by author to Southern writer Elizabeth McBride (1942-2009) on half title page. Ivory boards are bound with blue cloth tape printed in gilt on spine. Upper and lower edges of boards are tanned along entire edge, about 1/8" wide strip on top and less on bottom. Back board has a small (less than .25") soiled spot about 2" down from upper edge. Head and foot of spine are mildly bumped. Otherwise clean and sturdy. Binding is tight and as new. Page edges are lightly foxed. Front page edges have one small scuffed area 2" down from top edge. Interior pages are clean, undamaged and unmarked. Blue, white and gold DJ in G- condition has bumps to corners and rolled and chipped edges. The top DJ edge has numerous small tears less than .25". The back DJ panel is missing a piece approx. 2" x .25" from the upper edge near the spine. Two .5" tears extend along back hinge at top and along back panel fold. The lower corner of the back DJ panel is creased diagonally in two places. DJ wrapped in protective mylar. Bookseller Inventory # 00811Si-kk
