1899. No Edition Remarks. 406 pages. No dust jacket. Orange cloth. Contains black and white illustrated frontispiece. Heavy cracking to front hinge, with first couple pages being detached but present. Pages are heavily tanned, but text remains legible. Visible marking to some pages throughout, but text is not affected. Binding is slightly shaky, but all pages remain attached. Inscriptions to endpapers. Staining to front endpapers also. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and some scuffing to edges. Spine and edges are heavily tanned, with noticeable crushing and slight splitting to ends. Heavy rubbing and scuffing overall, with visible marking also, including some bleach spots. Book has a slight forward lean. Seller Inventory # 1676359173MHP
