About this Item
28"x 18" Original print in wooden frame. [85.1 cm x 51.8 cm]; Tertiary history of the Grand Canyon. Thomas Moran (1837-1926) depicts a spectacular view of the Grand Canyon, which was used as an illustration for Clarence C. Dutton's book Tertiary History of the Grand Caņon District with Atlas. Thomas Moran's work often depicted the Western United States' landscapes, which were a common theme of other artists who were part of the Hudson River School.
