NB: No dustjackets. Fourth edition. Green hardcovers with titles in gilt on spine. Condition: Both volumes are in good condition with general light shelfwear to covers. Light browning and foxing to endpapers. Both volumes bear the name of the previous owner on front pastedown. The front inner hinge of volume II is beginning to crack, but holding. In Vol I there are old repaired tears (repaired with sellotape which has now yellowed) to pages 673 and the photographic plate on the following page.
