La bella veduta disegnata da Harding è animata da un diffuso compiacimento paesaggistico, a cui si voleva raccomandare la novità della litografia. La stampa fa parte della interessante raccolta di 50 tavole del paesaggista inglese, alcune di essere rappresentano la nostra città e sono tutte pregevoli per l'originale naturalezza dell'ambiente raprresentato e per la proprietà coloristica. Disponibile anche a due colori. La litografia a colori fu realizzata da Charles Hullmandel.
