Navy linen boards with gilded box on front board with Title, Author and medallion. Binding is in poor condition with tears and rubbing along both ends. The spine is slightly pulled, with endpapers of town sketches. Frontispiece of "Conrad's First Command, The Barque Otago", covered with onion skin.
