1933 [c. 1933] Centennial Edition; 248 pp.; 8vo.; Green cloth covered boards with gilt title to front and spine; rubbed corners and spine ends; Bookplate to front paste down; Slight darkening to page edges but a well preserved copy; Covered in acid free mylar for protection; Very Good Condition. Robinson (1833-1900) was a noted Quaker author from a well-respected and artistic Vermont family whose writings and art captured the dialect, culture and time of pre-Civil War Vermont, set in the imaginary town of Danvis, largely drawing from his the inhabitants and experiences of Ferrisburgh, VT.
