There are eighty-four snapshots, in both black & white and color, of the 11th Communications Detachment outpost in Vietnam. There are photos of the barracks, soldiers, sergeants, platoons, planes in air, a plane crash site, aerial views, at the gun range, and leisure moments at the beach. Most photographs speak for themselves, though some are labeled with handwriting directly on the photograph. Captions include: "Shinai & Huff preparing for full field layout. Huff Died mortar attack 3AM 29 May 1968", "First Sgt. Counts", "Gooks". Eight leaves, sixteen pages contained in a green folder. Written inside the front cover is "11th Communication Det. BDE Comm Plat. 11th Sig. Plat." In very good condition. Seller Inventory # 1047
