Size 7.25 x 10.0 inches. In pictorial coloured cloth covers with gilt to spine and front. With coloured pictorial endpapers. Hard card slipcase. In fine condition. Very clean and tight copy, plus very good slipcase only a few light scuffs. With colour plates and b/w illustrations in text. The Violet Fairy Book has an introduction by Alison Lurie, paintings and decorations by Robert Venables Folio Society editions of Andrew Lang?s Fairy Books with introductions and illustrations by modern authors and artists. A stunning Volume of beautifully illustrated and presented volume.
