1885. 2nd edition. 248 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Green cloth with gilt titles to spine. Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. With illustrated frontispiece. Pages are heavily marked with intense tanning and foxing, plus very intense thumbing and rubbing. A few small edge tears to a few pages, one repaired with tape. Various liquid stains to pages. Text remains legible. Gatherings sewn together with additional thread. A few dog-eared corners. Boards have some edge wear, with slight bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are moderately crushed and rubbed. Slightly scratched, rubbed and marked overall.
