165p; engraved frontispiece. Gilt lettering.Takes the form of a chat between Lucy and her aunt Mrs. Lovechild, who has returned from an extensive tour of Scotland. Each chapter follows the conversation as Aunty moves around Scotland; describes much of local interest, historical and topographical, if necessarily fleetingly. Likely is rare - though in Mitchell's listings of Scottish Tours, he states he had not seen a copy. A very few foxing spots, but binding tight, some light corner and spine wear; Spine darkened with dull gilt titing. Blue boards bright and clean with bright gilt; tiny brown spot on front board and e'.p's toned; no other marks or signatures. - see scans. Attrractive wee book. Seller Inventory # 006176
