A lovely copy of Jean Rhys' novel Wide Sargasso Sea' in the Eric Thomas dustjacket. The dj is clean, bright, unclipped with very minor rub to tips. Bright, complete spine which is not faded. The contents bear a few age spots here and there otherwise clean and unmarked with light age-toning. The story of Antoinette Bertha Cosway, the first wife of Mr. Rochester from Charlotte Bronte's 'Jane Eyre'. A haunting novel which was the author's most successful novel and which was included on the "Big Jubilee Read" list of 70 books by Commonwealth authors.
