Second edition 1926. 8vo, original green cloth with gilt vignette on front of Christopher Robin and Pooh. Upper edge gilt. Illustrated endpapers. This is the second edition published in 1926, the same year as the first edition, October1926. 158pp illustrated throughout with Shepard's line drawings.Generally nice and clean inside with occasional marks / signs of age, good condition. However there is a corner missing at page 47, minor tears to a couple of pages, the odd crease etc, see pictures. Slightly cocked, outer spine with a tear, corners bumped, edge wear. Previous owners' names handwritten on front endpapers. This book has been read by more than one generation and does show its age a little. Still an attractive early copy looking for a gentle home.
