Period original three-quarter leather with spines lined and lettered in gilt, marbled paper-covered boards. 524 and 581 pp. Vol. I frontispiece engraving of the author; engravings of More's home on title page of each volume. Good only, leathe spines with cracking and split at the gutters although the text blocks are still firm. Prelims heavily foxed as is the portrait; scattered foxing in the text. Previous ownership signature dated 1827 front free endpapers of both volumes and name is written again on title pages. Seller Inventory # E8060
