Book is in Good condition. It contains no publication date, but Leavitt & Allen Bros. only existed under that name from 1873-1878. Binding is loose but secure. Age-tanned pages are unmarked. Blue covers are still bright with light staining. Gilt title on spine. A newspaper clipping of the Burns poem "A Prayer in Prospect of Death" is pasted inside front cover. Previous owner's name on first free endpaper in pencil.
