Ref: Le Blanc 30.Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Johann Anton Riedel' after 'Aert de Gelder'. Johann Anton Riedel (1733-1816) worked as a painter in Dresden. He was also curator of the paintingscollection in Dresden. Aert de Gelder (1645-1727) was a pupil of Samuel van Hoogstraten and Rembrandt. Condition: Fair, given age. Cut to the image, with loss of part of the lower margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
