The jacket is ripped in a number of places, most dramatically along the top and bottom edges. The jacket has quite a few scuffs and scratches as well. The front loose end paper has the former owner's name written and scratched out along the top edge, as well as a date stamp. There is also five words written on the back of the loose end paper. The former owner has stamped the dedication page.
