The book is in very good condition with some browning on the front and back endpages and shelf wear, while the dust jacket is in good condition with some nicks and small tears on the top and bottom, with one tear on the surface level of the front cover in the letter M (the color layer is gone, but the jacket is still intact in that spot). The is an inscription from a prior owner on the front end page. The book was first printed in Nov. 1939, and this third printing was from Dec. 1939.
