    Trade Paperback. Condition: Very Good+. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. First Edition; First Printing. 3 separate issues of this groundbreaking photo journal. Text in French. (11 1/4" X 14 3/4") The October 1933 issue is near fine with only trifling offsetting at edges. The March 1938 issue has some offsetting at edges of front cover & short split at base of spine. The February 1938 issue has short splits at top & bottom of spine & a couple small chip at upper right hand corner of front cover. Considering the size and age of the material they are each in a remarkable state of preservation. Two of the covers depict photographic images of Adolf Hitler and the third is of a Nazi rally in the Reichstag. Nazi coverage in each issue. This periodical was a national institution in France originating in 1843, and becoming the first French weekly to features a photograph in 1891. Their fascist leanings leading up to World War Two and during the Occupation resulted in their editor being convicted as a collaborator. Sold only as a set of 3. (BC); 11 1/4" x 14 3/4" tall.
