Based on the 1979 novel "Father Sky" by Devery Freeman. Upon hearing their military academy is to be closed and sold in a year, a group of cadets hold an armed rebellion against their teachers in an attempt to uphold the honor of the school's long and illustrious history. Sean Penn's film debut and Tom Cruise's first major role. Set at the fictional Bunker Hill Military Academy, shot on location in Wayne, Valley Forge, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
