Bound in color illustrated paper over boards with a black cloth spine. Twelve full page color illustrations by RUTH E NEWTON (You may be familiar with her doll models). Title page notes, 'Assisted by Betty Carter and Mabel Horn'. One of a small group of this type of book published by the author around this period. A bright clean unusually nice copy of this book. Previous owner name at front; tiny gouge on front cover; bottom tips bumped. A very lovely book, the colors leap out at you. NEAR FINE.
