The front endpapers show a map of the Eastern Theater and the back endpapers show a map of the Western Theater. Inside the book is in excellent condition. There aren't any apparent tears in any pages or any writing save that which was printed. There isn't any water damage, either. Both the front cover and back cover are virtually untouched by any sun damage, while the spine is bleached. The contents include and introduction, a list of abbreviations used in the maps and diagrams, the civil war dicitonary, an atlas of sectional maps covering the civil war area, an a list of authorities cited. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
