Illustrated with 13 black and white captioned photos Grey textured wrappers with yapp edges [overlapping] printed in black on the front wrapper and the spine and with a vignette in green and yellow on the front wrapper of a jumping frog. A couple of minor dings around the yapp edges, endpapers just starting to pull away from the staples which show just a bit of rust, previous owner's inscription ["A visit to Angel's Camp. / May 14th 15/46."], green frog bright, photos in fine condition, else near fine with no internal markings. Six-Guns #311. Edna Bryan Buckbee [1876-1956] was an historian of the Mother Lode country in California and wrote numerous stories and books, including SAGA OF OLD TUOLUME and CALAVERAS COUNTY GOLD RUSH STORIES.
