Black- and-white illustrations and photos throughout. First Edition. Unpaginated. An account of a 1912 journey on the "Wm. F. Herrin", a tanker with a cargo of California oil bound to Linnton, a few miles below Portland, on the Willamette River. The crew cut down some Christmas trees along the way and spent Christmas at Annabelle's hospitable house in Monterey. Book.
