Condition: Fair. 1896. No Edition Remarks. 187 pages. No dust jacket. Abridged by the Rev. Simpson Johnson. Pink pictorial boards. Pages are bright with light tanning and moderate foxing to free endpapers and text block edges. Pencil mark to front free endpaper, with an inscription to paste-down. A few small nicks along text block edge. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with slight bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a notable forward lean and bow.
