Octavo in burgundy, deep red cloth with embossed and gilt titles on cover and spine; illustrations; 17-271 pp., 24 cm.; warm inscription by author on title page; solid sturdy copy; very light rubbing to corners and parts of the edges and a few very small spots on the cover; very lightly soiled boards; boards are still very handsome; previous owner's signature and address written in pencil on ffep; pages are clean, crisp, bright and free of marks and creases; edges of leaves are clean; binding is tight and square; a gently used copy.
