Minor soil and a few faint dr op marks on cloth, Internally, front hinge just starting to crack, text a bit age yellowed, 1 inch tear top edge 1 leaf, o/w tight, clean, mostly crisp and probably never really read.

Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Previous owner inscription to half-title page. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout however binding remains reasonably firm. Cracking at boards is heavier with exposed netting. Loose plate at page 94. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Small splits to to spine head. Moderate tanning to spine. Book has a slight forward lean. Top edge of text block is dust marked.
