New York. Foster & Reynolds Company. 1917. First Edition. Octavo (8 x 5). [14], 5-104 [105-106] pp. Signed by E.E.M. (Edward Eames Millard) on the front end paper. Photo frontispiece showing a raging Nepigon river. Black and white plates of the river in various locations. The author writes with a good sense of self-consciousness describing fly fishing for trout: "Putting one's flies on the water like thistledown or snowflakes is unessential here on the Nepigon. Nor is accuracy required on these ripples and rapids." That simple thought should endear Mr. Millard to the angler who sneeringly flogs the water. The book is bound in the original green cloth with gilt title on the front cover. A nice book. Clean and very good. Signed by Author.
