Wrappers. Condition: Very Good. Edson, Doris (illustrator). Small quarto with plastic spiral binding and green wraps. Second edition of a book originally published in 1942. A wonderfully useful book for anyone interested in costume design, period clothing , or in sewing and clothing design in general. Forty patterns on the page rectos, with information on source of design, suggestions for fabric, trim and accesories, accompanying clothing pieces and other pertinent information on the verso of the preceding page. Arranged chronologically with some photographs of finished designs at the end. Very good plus condition. The book is bright, clean and unmarked. One dog-eared page corner, slight rubbing to cover and slight flattening of small section of comb binding. Costume, Clothing, Crafts & Hobbies, Drama, Patterns, Sewing.
