A very good (minus), clean, sturdy hard cover first edition over all with minor shelf wear, but light foxing to the outer cloth resulting in a light blush of spotting; hinges and binding tight, paper just moderately yellowed with light foxing to the end papers and fore-edges; with the previous owner's 'number' penned on the front free end paper (also penned on the dust jacket margin). In a good fairly rubbed dust jacket which has been reinforced on the back side by paper tape, with price clipped. Still a nice reading copy of a scarce original, later made into a movie.
