Condition: Good. 1947. First Edition. 250 pages. Illustrated dust jacket over blue cloth with black and white illustrations throughout. Light tanning to pages with heavier tanning to pastedowns and endpapers. Ink stamps to front endpaper and half title page. Pen and pencil inscriptions to front endpaper and slight dog-eared pages throughout. Boards have visible rubbing and minor bumping to corners. Soft crushing to spine ends as well. Unclipped jacket with light edge wear and visible rubbing. There is visible tearing to corners, edges and spine ends and heavier sunning to interior.

Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn with slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges.
