Abstract: "Family history and genealogical information about the descendants of John Russ who was born ca. 1612 in England. He was a descendant of Thomas Russ and Anne Symond. John married Margaret (surname unknown) ca. 1633 in England. They immigrated to America ca. 1635, settled in Andover, Massachusetts and were the parents of three known children. Descendants lived in Massachusetts, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana, Texas, California and elsewhere." Named persons: Russ, Osgood, Moore, Owen, Benjamin, Potter. Very scarce: in two libraries worldwide. Near Fine copy with faintest edgewear and light soiling and foxing around rear paste-down endpaper. Else excellent, secondhand copy; pages are fine, bright and free of marks and creases; binding is tight and square.
