Hard Cover. Third printing, reprint. 8vo., 326 pgs. A very fine state history, quaintly written as if by the citizens themselves, who told their regional stories to the Hards as they traveled about, or stopped by the wonderful stone bookstore run by Mrs. hard and family for many years in Manchester, now sadly converted to the more utilitarian purposes of a real estate firm. Green cloth, a bit dusty, solid binding, no writing, old bookplate nicely removed from pastedown, leaving only tiny traces of its prior life, indeed as the bookstore itself has evoked such memories in its former patrons. Very good condition (no dust jacket).
