Condition: Good. Meiji 25 (1892), first edition, large 12 mo (6 1/2 x 7 3 4 - 16.4 x 19.6 cm), silk stab ties, spine covered, crepe paper, 20 numbered pages, Front cover reads, "T. Hasegawa, Hiyosicho, Tokio." Twelve pages of folded crepe paper for a total of 24 pages (front and back cover included in the count). ~ Condition. The book is in Good+ condition. The spine covering is broken at the bottom (ca 1 in). The bottom right corner edges roll up. There is a heavy ripple (general crease) at the right edge which extends approximately 1/2 way down. There is a 1/4 inch nick out of the top edge of the front cover. At the upper right of the front cover there is a circular stained area approximately 3/4 an inch in diameter. It bleeds through to the page next page and is faintly visible on the page that follows that. There is a small stained area on the back cover. There are no cuts or breaks to the page edges (along the folds). A very nice example of this book. Far better condition than it is usually found. ~~ More information, to include digital pics, available on request.
