Volume 51, complete in two parts; small quarto, [4], vi, [2], ii, 184, xx pp., folding map of geological place names; 185 (start of second part with pagination continuous from first part)-370, xxxiv pp., 10 plates with some folding including a large color map; library markings including pocket at end, later cloth faded, the last map age toned but an overall very good interior; the section on Indian Geological Terminology is revised from the author's 1913 edition and gives the originator of each term, of course many no longer used or changed in meaning e.g., Neogene no longer refers to a specific group of fossils from Burma. - If you are reading this, this item is actually (physically) in our stock and ready for shipment once ordered.
