Catalog published on the occasion of a 2001 exhibition of French artist JalinoPol's work at the Galerie des Vosges, in Paris. JalinePol, is a painter who during a 40-year career, combined Realism and Impressionism. Born in Lille, France in 1946, she has been influenced by many of the places where she visited or lived including France, Cameroon, New Caledonia, the Middle East and Bora Bora. She studied at the School of Fine Arts in Paris. For her paintings, she chooses colors which are bright and intended to be daring. She also uses a myriad of warm tones hoping to evoke and provoke a happy mood. Minor and sporadic rubbing and creasing along edges of dust-jacket. Upper front corner of binding bumped, thus slightly affecting the tip of pages throughout. Lower margin of front cover slightly dented (not affecting pages). Text in French and English.
