hardcover. Condition: vg. Limited edition. 1/300; 1/50 in Ladino. Folio. 36 leaves. Portfolio resting in blue cloth folder with gold lettering on spine. Folder is inside a blue slipcase with gold lettering. Illustrated color frontispiece. Inscription on back endpaper. Limited Edition of the Haggadah telling the story of Passover in Hebrew and Ladino with 13 striking full color illustrations by Shlomo Katz. Each plate in color is signed by the artist in pencil. Katz, born in Poland and later immigrated to Palestine, "developed an original technique of oil painting on a gilded metal surface.[recalling] medieval icons on the one hand, and oriental miniatures on the other.Katz serigraphs became the ultimate in modern printmaking" (Ro Gallery). Front of slipcase has small white marks. Stain on back endpaper. Slipcase in good condition, Folder and portfolio in good+ condition. Text in Hebrew and Ladino.
